A dedicated listening room be it stereo listening, HiFi surround or residential theater is much more than a hobby or diversion, is a real (and important) slice of life.

Possibly no one is enjoying the passion of music listening more than Art Smuck (Ft. Worth).  The front view of his room is shown to the right.

Art Smuck, if you need to ask about this view of components than you have no idea how great audio can sound. Please do note the "Floating" wall backdrop which is a multi-tuned active "bass trap".Another view showing the "floating wall": chambered and tuned to (3) different center frequencies is this memrane trap feature.Art Smuck, showing the RPG 4" BAD ARC panels on the left sidewallWhat looks to be "theater" is actually 2-Channel with Vandersteen 5's and a passion for music listening. When desired, theater it is.This effort included products from FOUR suppliers. This image shows a specifically designed cluster of RPG Skyline Diffusors. Also used from RPG are 4" BAD panels. From Real Traps, the two front corners feature MegaTraps. From GIK Acoustics, 244 panels flank the sidewall/ceiling junctures. Auralex joined the party by having an "on-point" diffusors for the needs of the ceiling, Q'Fusor.Ted Brady, rear of room showing more of the hi-rez no compromise surround space.Ted Brady right sidewall showing the SP Tech Rev's, his rack and my custom designed HAR and sail panels.Kim Kenton's B & W room (S.Carolina). This room is anchored visually and acousticall by these beautiful custom design Poly Diffusors.Joe Dalton...a little equipment photo never hurt anyone huh!. But do take note of the sawtooth absorbers behind the racks. These are CRUCIAL to controlling the negative affects of the angled ceiling slopes.Avalon speakers, RPG Modex Plate traps and RPG BAD ARC panels are shown in James Meine's listening room (Houston, TX)Mike in Tacoma Washington contracted HdAcoustics to analyze and design acoustical treatments for his listening room in his newly built residence. The existing room had assymetrical challanges. From Mike on the room, "It's a cool, fun room to be in. People see it and say "wow". The most noticeable difference is now there is incredible pinpoint focus of vocals and instruments, and all are clearly defined in space. Also, the tonal richness."Kevin Jones listening space with GIK and Ready Acoustics panels showcasing Wilson Sasha and Purity Audio Design.David G's dedicated listenging room features GR Reasearch LS-6's and a design approach that speaks to perspective and depth (acoustically and visually). In this rear right view of David G's room you see a multi-layered paneling design capped off by HdAcoustics very own Circle Diffusors. The entry wall shows two stand-mounted absorbers.Charles Zucker's listening retreat is located in Manhattan. Panels are from RPG Acoustics. This view, to me, speaks to a lot of enjoyable hours listening (and reading). The job utilized HdAcoustics RRT with additional speaker location and LF calibration...very exciting project.

Also, shows a parternship with the client's interior designer on fabric selection. The Harringon Theater near Austin Texas is a result of our proud partnering with top integrator Ken Schultz. This complex angled screen wall is tailor suited to the Cinecurve screen.Harrington: of note is that there are NO acoustical devices on the sidewalls and ceiling. The surrounds are in-clg (important) and the main speakers are wonderfully voiced Totem. Although not the most dynamic of theaters, the use of hard surfaces optimizes room gain with great TONE!Harrington Theater rear wall which features a custom tuned absorption/diffusion sectionThe Starret Residence theater in Tulsa is large and magnificent.
